This beautiful Davenport Pottery Company "The Tailor of Gloucester" is a Hand Cast, Hand Painted, Musical Plate. This is a re-creation of the artwork of Beatrix Potter dated 1992, "The World of Beatrix Potter". The plate is sculptural and the center is raised from the plate. The scene is finely detailed and painted with watercolors. The plate rim is decorated with light green vines and flowers around the edge. The plate's interior has a raised rabbit reading a book, spools of thread, thimble, scissors, needle, and a candle. The plate measure 8-1/2 inches across from edge to edge.

The plate is in mint condition with original box, no Certificate of Authenticity. The plate is for display on the wall.
